Geek I/O on #E32013: Sony (SCEA) Keynote

Next on the lineup of E3 coverage from here at Geek I/O - Sony.  Ignoring what the internet is blowing up with, here are the highlights, most of the convention was based on PS4, and some for Vita & PS3.

 


PS Vita

     - Tearaway, Doki Doki Spirits, Batman: Arkham Origins, God Of War HD, FFX and FFX2, Flower, Dead Nation were all announced for the VIta amongst others today at Sony’s E3 Conference.

     - Telltale Games gave us a look at The Walking Dead: 400 Days, along with a Vita bundle including TWD Season 1 and 400 Days.


Sony Playstation 4 exclusive titles

Three out of the four games we saw back in February will be available at launch for the PS4: Killzone: Shadow Fall, Drive Club, and Knack.  Infamous: Second Son will be available Q1 2014.

Destiny

- Bringing the Instant Game Collection to the PlayStation 4

- As a PS+ Member, you get Drive Club free at launch

- A few games were detailed as being available for free at launch (we’ll update as we find out specific details)

- New title every month on PS+

- PS4 gamers who aren’t Plus subscribers can still enjoy single-player games for free

- PS4 online play requires a PS+ subscription

- PS4 gamers who aren’t Plus subscribers have access to media services, not behind a paywall.

- Price is $399
