Intro:
Hello and welcome to everyone for the reboot of one of my favorite shows I have done, Gamer Geeks. I am of course your host, CJ Boat, and joining me on this adventure is Scott Galloway. We are both massive gamers and enjoy playing them most every day. Here’s a little bit about us and what we like to play.
CJ: I love playing RPGs, stealth games, and card games. I also like playing fighting games, and even played competitively back in the day of Street Fighter Alpha 3 and Street Fighter 3. For card games, I play Magic: the Gathering, Cardfight Vanguard, and Yugioh. On top of that, I play a LOT of tabletop RPGS and tabletop games, far too many to speak of.
Scott: I love playing RPGs, FPS, and RTS games. I really tend to enjoy co-op games that push players to work as a team or games that push player skill to matter in Player vs Player. Favorite game honestly is Monster Hunter, but my guilty pleasure game types are space sims or building factory games.
Now that introductions are out of the way, let’s get down to what we are going to be talking about on this show. In its current version, we will have two parts in each episode, a news section, where Scott and I will talk about the biggest news (and news we are interested in) in the gaming universe, that includes video games, tabletop games, and card games. After that, Scott and I are going to be taking a look at a game we have been playing this week, and break it down for you. Score it on a 10 scale, and tell you if you should buy it, watch it, or skip it.
