The Geek I/O Show: Episode 116: "Sucking the President’s Duck"

August 8, 2015

This week on The Geek I/O Show, it’s CJ’s birthday and the man wanted to play Cards Against Humanity.  So, we grabbed our evening clutch and played some Cards Against Humanity.  Things got very inappropriate very quickly.

It’s the raise of Mexicos.  Nothing can stop the friction pair.  Darrell is sleep deprived.  Dale does reading.  Jaz fumbles over swear words.  Raul constantly sneaks the win.  Budlong returns in a lesser shade of salmon. Rachel loves innuendo, and CJ always chooses the biggest, blackest dick.  The gays like us too much.  It hurts.

Join us on The Geek I/O Show, won’t you?  You can’t beat the glory hole.

“The Mana Pool: the Geek I/O D&D Show Episode #115:- “Cosplay night at the zambie cave ”

August 1, 2015

This week on The Geek i/O Show, Yes please, it’s really big, and we’re a giant glowing beacon in a cave of death! We shoot zambie left and zambie right right in the face, take on a zombear,  definitely not going down, but going up.  We take up the flanking position, face some big time #PaladinProblems, go out and go back in, demand that Google Hangouts moves us, wonder why Wizzit is on Raul’s couch, and discuss sexy tacos.

Join us on the Geek I/O Show, won’t you? We’re doing less than half … again.

The Geek I/O Show #113 / Mana Pool #3: "It Ends With the Purple Skeleton"

July 18, 2015

This week on The Geek I/O Show, CJ tries to murder everyone as the party heads outside of Red Larch to encounter the bandits who have been causing problems for the local townsfolk.  Grab your longbow and get ready.

Dhalgren the Weird stands strong while Davdak takes two arrows in the sparkle pants.  Saltaba lights it up, and Dricu heals with one hand and cuts bandits down with the other.  Feeling vengeful, the party moves in only to encounter a hungry bear.  The battle rages on.  Fires burn high.  There is rolling in the Google doc.  Is the party victorious?  What’s up with that pixie and the exploding purple skeleton (my favorite 90s band)? Tune in to find out!

Join us on The Geek I/O Show, won’t you?  Because no one likes a fake dragon.

The Geek I/O Show: Episode 111: #E32015: Will you Wii U with me?”

June 27, 2015

This week on The Geek I/O Show, we’re back to normal (whatever that is).  CJ, Jaz, and Raul kick back and talk the geek about what’s been going on the last few weeks.  Would you like to come to my panel with me?

We discussed a log of yarn at E3 this year, MetroCon adventures, Arkham Knight’s got 99 problems, Hyrule Warriors, losing your life to Fallout 3, Hollow City is good times, finding Spider-Man in Lego Marvel Super Heroes, Fallout Shelter is more fun than it should be, Dig isn’t that great despite all the things it has going for it, tap tap bling bling, they’re not fire ants, they’re FIRE ants, Mario came out the year after I came out, the Japanese music video that happened in the middle of the Nintendo conference, and CJ and Raul discuss what happened at E3 (Jaz pipes in a little).  Plus!  CJ scores an interview with the spastic (and probably drunk) Rat-Trap himself, Scott McNeil!

Join us on The Geek I/O Show, won’t you?  We’re smart like a bag of hammers.

May 31, 2015

This week on The Geek I/O Show, the Rant & Reveiw reboot goes into round seven, and we’re pulling out all the geek to talk about Galaxy Quest.  We take this big bucket of tropes and talk about all the things from Tim Allen’s hay day.  It’s a hell of a thing.

We discussed the borg bug collective, smooth and shiny Shatner chest, termites don’t have face wipes, ganging it with gangers, let that audio clip go, Alan Rickman love, Tony Shalhoub is high, Justin Long’s awkward phase, and two-thirds boobies.  Plus!  Star Trek and Dragon Con made a baby!

Join us on The Geek I/O Rant & Review, won’t you?  It’s better than borg bug alien goo.

Geek I/O #104: Rants & Reviews:Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters - “Magic Diabaeetus”

May 9, 2015

This week on The Geek I/O Show, it’s four score for our fourth review in the Rant & Review reboot.  This time, we’re watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters.  Discussion of this horribly produced film quickly devolved into slappery.

We discussed sheriff porn-stache, better versions of Whiplash, milk on wooden shelves, rom-com fight choreography, wizard slap fights, holy chain guns, horse nudity, and filled with shit that doesn't make sense.  Plus!  You squished his head for me; I love you!

We fill an actual hour discussing Dale’s wiener theory, post traumatic stress trailer syndrome, how not to die from wieners, wise walrus boy, and a beard both ways.  Pro-tip wieners: here’s how to fill your dumb joke checklist.

Join us on The Geek I/O Show Rant & Review, won’t you?  Next time we’ll discuss Wieners 2: Phallus Boogaloo (not really).

The Geek I/O Show: #100!!! - Celebration Masterbation

April 7, 2015
GO logo Black SQUARE Avatar.PNG

This week on The Geek I/O Show, the gang's all here to celebrate Geek I/O turning 100!  Join CJ, Rachel, Jaz, Budlong, and Dale as they bring together a giant, chaotic ball of geek and confuse (and possibly frighten) our very special guest, the one and only Scott Fletcher!

We discuss bye-bye Budlong, babies, Disney/Pixar X-Wings, voiceover tours, blisters, school, retail, becoming a for-real teacher, how to unplug your microphone with your body, marriage mortgage, miserable coochie-lay, gympie-gympie flash videos, the matzah fairy, racing statueist, smells like giant spiders, not regular ever, pooping out numbers, and explaining the internet.  Plus!  Slowly getting more and more drunk!

Join us on The Geek I/O Show, won’t you?  You’ll find us on the Eastern Shaft.

If you like what you see and hear on Geek I/O and want to support us on a consistent basis, head on over to patreon.com/geekio where you can subscribe to our network and help us create better content, with new equipment and potentially no-ads (initially on the main show). You can donate any amount you wish, starting at $1/month. Thank you for your continued support of the Geek I/O Network!

Please take a brief moment to participate in an anonymous survey to help us know who is listening. It not only helps us know you better, but allows you to give us direct feedback about what you like and don't like about the shows on our network. Also it will help us attract sponsors if enough listeners like you participate. Thanks!
